inspired by this post by melynda of french press knits, i have gathered a few yarns for my (and hopefully your) viewing pleasure. this is mostly a selfish post. i haven’t been able to knit since last christmas eve, the day after i was told by my doctor that i had tendinitis, that it was probably chronic, and that i needed to stop knitting. so, i need a little yarn pick-me-up, that’s all!

Driving around now, I keep seeing trees wrapped in preparation for the eventual snow and the arrival of cooler temperatures. Each time I see a yard with these wrapped trees all I can think about is this piece from 1997 by Christo and Jeanne Claude.
